Hey there. I am Kathrin Gogolin an Illustrator based in Hamburg, Germany. I graduated from the MA Illustration course at HAW Hamburg, Department of Design, where I discovered my passion for storytelling and graphic narration.
My illustrations are characterized by a playful, poetic approach and an immense appreciation of colour.

My work has been exhibited in various places such as the Goethe Institute in Bologna, Italy and the Fabrik der Künste in Hamburg, Germany. I've been a finalist for the Bologona Illustrators Exhibition 2021 and was longlisted for the Hamburger Bilderbuchpreis 2023.
My book project "I am the forest" was exhibited at the Bologna Fair as part of the Dpictus Showcase 2024. My current picturebook project is shortlisted as a Finalist for the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition 2026.
