"I am the forest" is a poetic picturebook, in which an ancient forest narrates its life and reminisces about past, present and its purpose. Accompanied by fragmented illustrations, the forest opens up to the visitor, taking both reader and visitor on a journey through its life.
The Book was selected by Dpictus for the Unpublished Picturebook Showcase 5 and will be displayed at the Bologna Children's Book Fair 2024.
It was also selected for the Hamburger Bilderbuchpreis longlist in 2023 by Verein neues Bilderbuch.
